As for the Danish authorities: AFAIK it depends stronly on the age of the bike. For more information you might wish to contact Peter the blacksmith who did it several times with Finnish autorities.
The engine of the VX800 is almost the same as the one fitted to the Intruder/Marauder, however it has a different crankshaft to make it run smoother. This does not apply for "American" VX800s, where they didnīt change the camshaft, so the engine is completely identical. If you visit the German VX800 site, you will find lots of information on technical details.
The bike I spotted in hamburg was a 1996 model. Shall i try to find the link to the dealer?
